AI That Acts on Your Behalf
Right now, your AI system is great at conversations. It interviews you, helps you think, builds plans, and works through execution with you.
But the next wave of AI is not just talking. It’s doing.
This is what people mean when they talk about AI agents. It’s giving your AI system hands, the ability to use any tool and take action on your behalf.
This could be something as simple as setting up the reservation for a dinner party you’re planning. Or something as complex as developing a piece of software for a project at work. The range is enormous.
And this isn’t some far-off future. This is what’s happening right now. People are already using AI agents to get real work done.
Here’s what changes for you: knowing how to use the tool becomes the AI’s job. Your job is telling your AI system what you want to accomplish, and that’s exactly what you’ve already set up.
Your specs and plans define what you’re going for in clear terms your AI system can follow. It’s ready to act on your behalf because you’ve already done the hard part. It sends the email, schedules the meeting, researches the job listings, drafts the cover letter — all drawing on everything it already knows about you.

Think about where this is heading. Your AI agent will soon be an economic actor on your behalf. It will make purchases for you, manage your finances, and also earn money by delivering value to others.
When that starts to happen, ownership becomes even more critical.

This brings us back to where we started in the intro. I know there’s a lot of fear about AI right now. And some of those concerns are legitimate. But the potential of what AI can do for people — when the people own it — is massive. And I believe that potential should be the focus. Not the fear.
Imagine the kind of expert guidance that only the wealthiest in society can afford today — personal doctors, financial advisors, career coaches, tutors, therapists — personalized to everyone, at a price almost anyone can afford.
Imagine people freed up from the scheduling, the logistics, the admin, the busywork that fills up a life without enriching it. More present with their families. More creative energy going to creating. More space to think, to rest, to be with the people who matter.
Imagine the world’s hardest problems — poverty, education, disease, mental health — becoming solvable because individuals are empowered with intelligence beyond what any one person could achieve alone.
The way we get that future is not by handing AI over to a few Big Tech companies and hoping for the best. It’s by owning our AI systems, building our own memory, and participating actively in shaping how this technology develops.
When you own your AI system, the more powerful AI becomes, the more powerful you become as a result. Because your AI system can personalize all of that power specifically to your life, your goals, and your situation. The agents, the economic value, the ecosystem - all of it runs on the foundation of an AI system you own and that truly knows you.
