Exciting news over the weekend which is that BrainDrive earned 2nd place in the r/LocalLLM sub reddit’s 30 day innovation contest!
This sub reddit is one of the major places that Local AI enthusiasts hang out to discuss all things Local AI so it’s a great honor to be amoung the winners of the contest. I think it also shows that we are on the right track, and that BrainDrive’s mission of building a superior user-owned alternative to Big Tech AI systems is starting to resonate.
The prize was also highly generous which is an Nvidia DGX Spark. This will be a beast at running Local AI models in BrainDrive and will allow us to showcase what the future for all BrainDrive Owners will look like as consumer grade hardware continues to improve and become more powerful.
I’ve added a badge to the BrainDrive.ai website as well as the BrainDrive-Core repo Readme showcasing the win.
