BrainDrive Community Guidelines

Welcome, BrainDrive Owners!

The BrainDrive Community is a space for AI owners, builders, and entrepreneurs who believe in true AI ownership, freedom, empowerment, and sustainability. These guidelines ensure that our community remains a collaborative, innovative, and respectful place for everyone.

They are designed to help drive our mission of making it easy for you to build, control, and benefit from your own AI system.

1. Core Principles

Our community is built on BrainDrive’s four foundational pillars:

  • Ownership – You own your AI system, data, and creations.
  • Freedom – No lock-ins. No restrictions. Build, modify, and share freely.
  • Empowerment – AI should empower individuals, not corporations.
  • Sustainability – A thriving, open ecosystem that grows with us all.

By participating in this community, you commit to upholding these values.

2. Be Respectful & Constructive

We welcome diverse perspectives and skill levels. Keep discussions thoughtful, constructive, and solution-oriented. Personal attacks, discrimination, and harassment won’t be tolerated.

3. Open Source & Collaboration

  • Help others—We succeed together.
  • Share knowledge—Whether it’s a tutorial, a script, or an idea, contribute!
  • Give credit—If you build on someone’s work, acknowledge them.
  • Keep it open—We encourage open-source contributions, but private development is also respected.
  • Contribute where you can—Join discussions on the forum, submit pull requests on GitHub, share your builds, or help document solutions.

5. No Spam, Excessive Self-Promotion, or Unethical Practices

  • No excessive self-promotion—Sharing what you’ve built is great, but don’t spam.
  • No deceptive practices—AI should empower, not manipulate. No misleading claims, scams, or unethical AI applications.
  • No excessive commercialization—This is a space for innovation, not just selling. Marketplace discussions are welcome, but value creation comes first.

6. Privacy & Data Sovereignty

Respect your own privacy and that of others:

  • Do not share private or sensitive information.
  • Respect intellectual property—Plagiarism or unauthorized use of someone else’s work is not allowed.
  • Protect AI ownership—Encourage ownership and decentralized approaches.

7. Keep Discussions Focused

This community is about user-owned AI and the BrainDrive ecosystem. Off-topic discussions should be minimal and relevant to AI, decentralization, and personal ownership.

8. Resolving Disagreements

Healthy debate leads to innovation, but conflicts should be handled constructively:

  • Address issues directly with the involved parties first
  • Focus on specific behaviors, not personal judgments
  • Propose solutions, not just complaints
  • Involve moderators only after direct attempts to resolve issues

9. Moderation & Enforcement

Violating these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, or bans. The moderation team’s decisions are final, but constructive feedback on community policies is welcome.

Our moderation approach emphasizes:

  • Education over punishment when possible
  • Consistency in applying these guidelines
  • Transparency about moderation decisions
  • Proportional responses based on the impact of violations

10. These Guidelines Will Evolve

As our community grows, these guidelines will evolve too. As BrainDrive owners, you have a voice in shaping them. Suggestions for improvements are always welcome. Just respond with your questions, comments, and ideas for improvement below or participate here in building and shaping the future of the BrainDrive Community.

Remember: BrainDrive is more than software—it’s a movement for AI ownership and freedom. Let’s build a community that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and independence.
